Buying a caravan privately from it's owner offers better value than buying directly from the site, that said Butlins offer a discount of £540 for a holiday home purchased directly from them themselves but this does not apply to private sales so bear in mind that each year you would be paying £540 a year more, even so you could be still saving thousands by buying this way.

All sales are completed via Butlins and the owner pays a fee from the purchase price agreed to Butlins, Even when a sale is agreed Butlins have first refusal to buy it in at the price agreed with the seller.
